The first horse of this breed to arrive to America was Bulle Rock in 1730. There were actually several foundation sires of this breed. Since than, animals of this breed have become well-known outside the racing world.

Thoroughbred History -

These animals originally came from England. In the 1600’s a racing industry had began. Wealthy landowners began breeding horses especially for racing. The native stallions had endurance, but their speed was rather little and the breed imported to improve the native horses was the Arabian. You should know the thoroughbred history when you plan to buy a foal; seeing a photo of the breed is not enough.
