There are special farms that produce horses of this breed for sale at auction. The most successful so called commercial breeders are in Kentucky, they are: E.J. Taylor, Spendthrift Farms, Claiborne Farms, Gainsworthy Farm, and Bluegrass Farm. Canadian thoroughbred babies should be obtained from reputable breeders.
