Foal
When buying a foal, visit a breeder and see all horses available.
People, buying a horse for riding should already have some riding experience or at least have taken riding lessons. A future owner should understand his or her riding abilities to be in a better position when choosing a horse and as riding is a team sport, the animal's temper should also be taken into consideration.

Ponies are as a rule not more than 58 inches tall. Wild or semi-wild horses are in the fourth group. When buying a foal, visit a breeder and see all horses available.
